PUBLICATIONS
Dr. Hurvitz has been contributing articles to Ophthalmology Journals since 1983 as a primary author and co-author, focusing largely on glaucoma and cataract surgery. His articles are on display in the Clinic's waiting room.

PERSONAL
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Hurvitz came to live and practice in Sarasota in 1980. He has two teenage children and he and his wife enjoy tennis, skiing and hiking. Dr. Hurvitz concentrates much of his efforts on "The Foundation to Cure Glaucoma", a project he helped establish with his patients.
